Welcome to Little Hay Golf Complex! We're delighted to have you join us and hope you enjoy everything our course and clubhouse has to offer. To ensure all of our members and visitors have the best possible experience, we kindly ask that everyone takes a moment to familiarise themselves with our course and clubhouse rules. Your cooperation and respect for these guidelines helps us maintain the high standards and friendly atmosphere that Little Hay is known for. Course Rules:
The following rules are strictly enforced. There are no exceptions to these policies. Failure to comply may result in players being asked to leave the course.
- Maximum Group Size - A maximum of 4 players may play together at any one time. This rule is absolute and no exceptions will be made under any circumstances.
- Individual Equipment - Every player must have their own set of clubs and bag. The sharing of clubs or bags between players is strictly prohibited, with no exceptions.
- One Ball Rule - Each player is permitted to play one ball only during their round. The use of a provisional ball is permitted where the rules of golf allow, but no additional balls may be played otherwise.
- Pace of Play - Please keep up with the group ahead at all times. If you fall behind, increase your pace or allow the group behind to play through.
- Joining Other Players - If you have booked as a single, two ball, or three ball, and additional players have reserved the remaining slots on your tee time, you will be required to play together as a group. Little Hay operates an open booking system, and we ask that all players are respectful and welcoming to those joining them.
- Junior Golfers (Under 13) - Any junior golfer under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times whilst on the course.
Dress Code:
While we do not require formal golf attire, we do maintain certain standards to ensure the comfort of all our guests:
- Clean, presentable clothing is essential at all times.
- Dedicated golf clothing and golf shoes are appreciated but not mandatory.
- No football shirts are permitted to be worn on the course.
- Smart casual wear is perfectly acceptable.
Clubhouse Rules:
At Little Hay Golf Complex, we take pride in creating a welcoming environment where everyone can enjoy our facilities, regardless of their golfing experience. To ensure all guests have the best possible experience, we'd like to share some important guidelines about our clubhouse etiquette:
- Check In Procedures -
- All players must report to the reception desk before their round
- This includes both members and guests
- Check-in is required even if you have paid in advance
- This helps us manage course traffic and ensure everyone's safety
- It also allows us to inform you of any important course updates or conditions
- Mobile Phone Usage -
- Mobile phones should be set to silent mode within the clubhouse
- Please step outside for phone calls rather than using the bar, restaurant, or reception areas
- Text messaging is acceptable as long as notification sounds are disabled
- This helps maintain a peaceful atmosphere for all guests
- Interaction with Staff -
- All staff members have the right to work in a safe environment
- Physical contact with staff members is strictly prohibited
- Any form of threatening, intimidating, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated
- Violations of these policies will result in immediate removal and a facility ban
- We encourage positive, respectful communication with all staff members
- Additional Guidelines -
- Please keep noise levels considerate of others
- Excessive foul language or profanity is not acceptable in any area of the clubhouse
- Food and drinks purchased elsewhere should not be consumed in the clubhouse
- Spike/golf shoe cleaning should be done outside using provided facilities
- Children must be supervised at all times
- Please respect the cleanliness of the facilities and use provided waste bins
